I have been in the food and hospitality industry for a long time and have worn many hats, from wedding/event planning and sales to restaurant General Manager, to Food and Beverage Director at golf courses.
During the pandemic I found myself unemployed along with so many other people in the hospitality industry. I had made a phone call to my long-time friend and best chef around Alejandro, and as we were commiserating together, he said, “it’s time for us to open our own business, we’ve been working for other people for too long.” The more I thought about what Alejandro had said, the more I realized, he might be on to something, but I was not completely convinced.
Alejandro and I had worked together at a couple of restaurants/event venues, and people and other hospitality vendors knew us, so I started asking them what they thought. It was their enthusiasm that we were needed in this industry that sealed the deal for me and made me open Willow Catering.
With my experience and with Alejandro being well known for putting out delicious food, we feel we make a good team. We are two people just doing exactly what we love.
Our goal is to provide great customer service, and wonderful comfort food to make your event special. We will go the extra mile to make sure our clients are happy and satisfied and hopefully make a few more friends along the way.
